Lindasy is also one of our two Opticians. She, along with the rest of our Dispensary staff, takes pride in finding the perfect frame for your face shape, skin tone, hair color and most importantly, your prescription! After the frame selection, she will assist you with the best lens choice for your prescription & lifestyle. Lindsay takes care to properly fit and adjust your new glasses and will assist you with any other eye wear questions or concerns. Lindsay also is the mastermind behind our frame ordering. She has our dispensary looking great and provides you with the latest and greatest styles. Come on in and ask Lindsay what is new on our walls.
Tracey prides herself on making your visit with us a memorable and enjoyable one. She is well known in our community ans seems to know almost everyone who walks through our doors. That adds to the "at home" feel so many of our patients use to describe their visits with us. She is likely to greet you with the offer of a coffee or tea. Tracey is also an expert in frame selection and enjoys helping you find that perfect frame. She is always around to help you every step of the way from check-in to check-out and to have a great chat.
Faye has many years experience at the practice, in fact, she has been with the practice since it open! She spent time as our contact lens expert and has spent the last years as our insurance specialist. All your insurance claims eventually make their way through Faye who ensures you get the maximum coverage you are entitled to with as little effort on your part as possible. We can direct bill most companies. If you have any insurance related questions, give us a call and speak with Faye. She'll know your answers and if she doesn't will do her best to find out!
Krista is back on the team! She is able to book appointments, answer insurance questions, or other eye-related inquiries, and make sure you are well looked after. She can also operate of our advanced technology to provide the doctors with important and accurate data they require in order to take the best possible care of your eyes. We're happy to have Krista back!
Paula is one of our two opticians. With over 25 years of experience as an optician, Paula began her career in Barrie, Ontario before returning home to PEI in 2001. Paula enjoys working with the public and takes pride in her knowledge of the optical industry, ensuring great frame selection, proper fittings and a keen eye for frame adjustments. Paula always has fun while working and makes the sometimes stressful frame selection process an enjoyable one. Stop in and have her help you find your next perfect pair of glasses.
Vannessa joined our team in October of 2020 with a history of experience in inventory management. She is a keen multitasker who wears several hats in the practice. You can find her aiding in the dispensary with frame selection or helping you learn how to use contact lenses. Behind the scenes, she is a big part of our inventory management of all things ordered in the practice. If you purchased an item in the practice, Vannessa most likely had a part of ordering or receiving it. We're lucky to have her to help keep orders organized!
Leeann is one of the welcoming smiles that will greet you at our front desk when you start your journey with our practice. She is highly knowledgable on all things related to helping you check in and out, insurance claims, purchases, questions, and all things PEI! Leeann is highly personable and always up for a chat. She will make you feel at home whether it is your first visit with us or your 50th!
Lauren's last name may be Winter but she is far from cold. She has a caring and patient personality that is perfect for her role, as she is the first person performing testing on patients during their visit with us. She gets to use all our high-tech toys to gain data and information for the Doctors prior to your visit with them. She is wonderful with patients from toddlers to seniors and all in between. Her calm demeanour make even the "air puff" test seem not that bad. She looks forward to getting to know you.
